The little bit too vague “Titty Twister” has some dirty moaning mixed in whether you like it or not… I sort of do! On “Pyroclastic” the band gets pretty weird and psychedelic which of course is a good thing in my books! The hypnotic “Air Liquid” and the last, long piece “Hypnotized” remind me of the spacey psych rock band Tribe of Crow and some trippy German bands like Electric Orange and Zone Six (their synth player is now in The Spacelords I just noticed!), so you know I like these. “Gidamba” has a definitive African rhythm and I like this one too. Very nice! “Space Caravan” is a bit mellower, but still groovy instrumental track with percussion and floating keyboards.

“Echoes from the Past (Part 2)” continues the jam with some more djembe and without vocals. Then it’s time for “Echoes from the Past (Part 1)” that could have been played by Guru Guru in the late 70’s or early 80’s, very groovy and psychedelic stuff with those typical delay guitar patterns that always work so well. A little bit of King Crimson in there, perhaps? Also some spacey effects which is great. Maybe my favourite on this album!ĭimension 7 starts off with the title track that also has vocals. The debut ends with the over 14-minute, mellow, dreamy and mid-tempo “Janakpur” that has a very nice Eastern vibe and once again flute and great solo guitar work. The rhythm section is excellent too, by the way! “Cruising” is a more atmospheric track that reminds me of some of the more progressive kraut rock bands from the early 70s. “Slowdown” is a more bluesy tune that also has some flute, and on “Golfstrorm” the band goes into this sort of ethnic, hypnotic, trance world with nice delay guitar and percussion work before starting the standard (but very good) early 70’s styled guitar jamming. “Apeman” is very Hendrix styled as well, or something that The Outskirts of Infinity might have come up with. Also “Manamba” sort of reminds me of Jimi, but it sounds more modern than that and the flute adds the progressive rock vibe. The first album starts off with the ten-minute-plus “Wah Wah”, and you definitely get a lot of Hendrix-styled wah guitar on this one! Some great licks and a nice groove in there.

'Castlevania dev's new game for Xbox One, PS4 is 'completely different,' not coming to Wii U'. 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow devs take to the stars with Raiders of the Broken Planet'. The game was also released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in November 2020 as a launch title for the consoles. There will also be a new progression system, allowing players to access the game’s entire character roster. On July 21, 2018, MercurySteam have announced the new name for the game as Spacelords and planned to go with Free-2-Play by giving players access to all four campaigns (a total of 16 multi-stage missions) at once, accessible in any order they choose.

A beta test for the Windows version is set to be held before the game's official release. MercurySteam is set to self-publish Raiders of the Broken Planet for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on September 22, 2017. The game was teased by MercurySteam multiple times before it was officially announced in April 2016. Enric Alvarez, the head of MercurySteam, further described the project as one of the company's most 'ambitious' titles.

In March 2016, Cox announced his partnership with MercurySteam and that the company was working on a new game with a sci-fi setting. Dave Cox, the producer of the Castlevania franchise, revealed that some of the abandoned gameplay elements for Lords of Shadow 2, such as the combat mechanics, may be featured in the company's next game. Development ĭevelopment for the game had already begun before the release of MercurySteam's previous game, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. A story mode, which will be released episodically, is also planned. There are gameplay elements which task the players to shoot and brawl and utilize strategy. Spacelords is an asymmetric online adventure game. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 22, 2017, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in November 2020. Spacelords (previously known as Raiders of the Broken Planet) is an online free-to-play action-adventure video game developed and published by Spanish studio MercurySteam.
